Now that you’ve decided to pay an overnight or extended visit to the SNPJ Recreation Center, it’s time to determine which type of accommodation will best suit your stay. Will you be traveling in your RV, renting a cabin or camping in a tent? Though you’re sure to have a terrific stay regardless of where you’ll be spending your nights, we’re certain you’ll have some questions about what you’ll need to bring to make your stay even more comfortable.
Temporary RV sites at the SNPJ Recreation Center include electric hookups. Fresh water and waste water must be managed through the RV Dump Station. The temporary RV sites are located near the North Pavilion. The temporary RV sites are available to rent on a daily and weekly basis. A small deposit is required, and the balance of the rental fee is due upon arrival. Renters must check in at the office in the main building to pay the balance of the rental fee prior to receiving their site assignment.
The SNPJ Recreation Center offers a designated area for tent camping, spaces in which are rented on a daily basis – $20 per tent, per day. NO TENTS ARE PERMITTED IN THE CABIN AREAS OR NEAR THE TEMPORARY RV SITES. Fire rings are available for members camping in the tenting area, and a bathhouse is located nearby. Renters must check in at the office in the main building to pay the rental fee and receive their space assignment.
The cabins at the SNPJ Recreation Center are semi-rustic: each cabin unit has a refrigerator, running water and its own bathroom, but none of the cabins are air-conditioned, and neither portable nor window air-conditioners are permitted. Only cabins #1 and #2 are equipped with ceiling fans. The summer days, and even some of the summer nights, can get plenty hot, so BRING A FAN! A small deposit is required, and the balance of the rental fee is due upon arrival. Renters must check in at the office in the main building to pay the balance of the rental fee prior to receiving their cabin assignment. A complete list of Cabin Rules & Regulations is available from the SNPJ Recreation Center office.
